Fabrication for Stage - Miniature models fabrication
Sruth na Teanga is an immersive theatre event created by Branar, which imaginatively realises the evolution and life of the Irish language. A series of five miniature landscapes created by the ArtFX team are key scenographic elements of the theatrical performance. Each miniature landscape was on a base of one metre squared, and depicted five distinct settings, all at differing scales and locations. There was a combined set of skills and creative judgement required - miniature modelling, laser cutting, flocking and texturing - to achieve the desired level of detail to make the models compelling and intriguing components of the play.
